GI conditions in children with special needs

Almost 80% of Children with Autism Spectrum Disorders, ADHD and cerebral palsy have underlying gut issues including lazy gut, leaky gut and altered gut microbiome. These interfere with their behaviors and ability to cope with their physical therapy and occupational therapy, which are critical to maximize their potential. It takes special expertise to approach their ongoing GI issues and treat them. Often, significant improvement is seen in their behaviours once their gut health is restored.
